Stevensville, MD - As part of an ongoing effort to give back to the community, CloseCall America and its
employees are participating in a number of activities to make the holidays brighter for local families in need.
“Supporting the community and helping to improve the lives of those who are less fortunate has always been a priority for us,” said Tom Mazerski, President & CEO of CloseCall America.
“This year, we are participating in a number of programs that will help to make the holiday season special for area families.”
The programs CloseCall America is supporting include:
Toys for Tots:
CloseCall is collecting toys for the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program. This program collects new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year and distributes those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community in which the campaign is conducted. The primary goal of Toys for Tots is to deliver, through a shiny new toy at Christmas, a message of hope to needy youngsters that will motivate them to grow into responsible, productive, patriotic citizens and community leaders.
Adopt-a-Bear:
CloseCall and its employees have adopted 25 bears to help make Christmas special for needy children in the area. This year, the Adopt-a-Bear program will provide gifts for 1,750 children in a five county area on the Eastern Shore.
Kent Island Food Drive:
CloseCall and its employees are collecting food for the Kent Island Food Bank during the month of December.
Salvation Army:
CloseCall is donating to the Salvation Army to help families in need.
