Stevensville, MD - In an effort to improve and expand existing services, CloseCall America today announced a
number of changes to its "1800CloseCall" service that will simplify "away from home calling". In addition, the company
has improved the speed of its dial-up Internet connection which allows customers to connect up to 5 times faster.
"The improvements to our "1800CloseCall" service will give consumers more payment options and easier access to customer service," said Tom Mazerski, President & CEO of CloseCall America.
"With '1800CloseCall' consumers can call from anywhere at anytime and avoid the high fees often associated with collect or credit card calls. Customers can order and add minutes on-line or by phone and don't need a calling card to use the plan."
The new features, which will be available at the end of November, include the ability to:
- Buy and/or add minutes over the phone simply by entering a PIN
- Bill the call to a credit card or a CloseCall America phone bill
- Link directly to customer service by hitting zero
- Place collect calls
CloseCall America launched its "1800CloseCall" service in March, 2003.
In addition, Mazerski explained that CloseCall has responded to customer requests for a faster dial-up Internet connection.
"Our customers will really notice a big difference in the speed of their Internet connection, making their online experience more enjoyable. Plus, they won't have to pay the high price of DSL or cable," Mazerski added.
