Stevensville, MD - CloseCall America, a full-service telecommunications company specializing in low-priced community calling,
is sponsoring the 10th Annual Cruise for Kids, organized by Easter Seals Delaware and Maryland's Eastern Shore, on Monday, July 14 at
the Kent Island Yacht Club.
During the Cruise for Kids, local boaters donate their boats and their time to take children with disabilities between the ages of 5
and 18 for a cruise from the Kent Island Yacht Club to St. Michaels. The children will receive t-shirts and water bottles and will
be entertained by clowns. The event concludes with a picnic lunch sponsored by the Yacht Club. This year, between 45 and 60 children
are expected to cruise aboard 15-30 boats.
"The Cruise for Kids is a wonderful event that allows children - many of whom are from Camp Fairlee Manor in Chestertown - a chance to enjoy a day of fun and relaxation aboard a boat on Maryland's beautiful eastern shore," said Tom Mazerski, President and CEO of CloseCall America.
"We are proud to support our local Easter Seals chapter and wish them much success with the 2003 Cruise for Kids."
