Stevensville, MD - In keeping with CloseCall America's commitment to support local charities and contribute to worthy causes,
the company is sponsoring two upcoming events that will raise funds for disease prevention and treatment. In addition, CloseCall is
supporting an organization that works to improve the quality of life for children with cancer.

CloseCall is sponsoring the following events:
- The American Heart Association's American Heart Walk: CloseCall is joining with other Queen Anne County businesses and their employees in sponsoring the American Heart Walk on April 26. The event will be held at Terrapin Nature Park in Stevensville, MD at 10 a.m. Funds raised by the event will be used to fight heart disease and stroke.
- The American Cancer Society's Relay for Life: During the event, which will be held at Kent Island High School on May 2, "teams" of 8-15 friends and/or family members will participate by having one team member walk, wheelchair or run around the track relay style throughout the event. The Relay for Life helps increase cancer awareness, while raising much needed funds for the fight against cancer.
- The Cancer Recovery Foundation Children's Project: This project is designed to help children with cancer "get back to the serious business of having fun!" CloseCall is sponsoring two of the project's programs - the Camp Scholarship Program and the Gift Basket Program. CloseCall's support will allow a Maryland child with cancer to attend a therapeutic riding camp and pay for a gift basket of toys and games for a child with cancer.
