on September 21 in Rehoboth Beach and the Walk to Cure Diabetes, benefiting the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, on
September 22 in Wilmington.

Walkers carry illuminated balloons to celebrate and commemorate the lives touched by cancer and support the Society's mission to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma - and to improve the quality of life of patients and their families. The Rehoboth Beach Walk will be held on the boardwalk from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. beginning at the Boardwalk Plaza Hotel.

The Walk to Cure Diabetes is a walkathon held in more than 200 locations throughout the year benefiting the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Diabetes afflicts 150 million people worldwide, and the World Health Organization estimates that number will more than double by 2025. The Wilmington walk will begin at 9:00 a.m. at Rockford Park.
