calling, announced that the company will sponsor two local events to benefit young adults with cancer -- a Kicking Cancer
Soccer Tournament on September 13-14 and a 5K Walk or Run on September 22, both at Howard High School in Columbia, Maryland.
Joyce Agness of Columbia, Maryland organized "Through Charlie's Eyes" in memory of her son Charlie Hlass who lost his life
to leukemia on September 5, 2000, at the age of 21. CloseCall will join with Charlie's family and friends, the Ulman Cancer
Fund, the University of Maryland Medical Center and other sponsors and participants in supporting these events that will pay
tribute to the life of Charlie Hlass, raise money and awareness to fight leukemia, and improve the quality of life for young
adults that courageously battle cancer every day.

"The money raised from these events will enhance the quality of life for young adults with cancer here in Maryland."There are 120,000 young adults ages 15-35 diagnosed with cancer each year. Many of these patients spend days and even weeks in the hospital. Funds raised from these events will be used to build a workout room and lounge for the University of Maryland Medical Center Bone Marrow/Stem Cell Transplant and Oncology Units for patients as well as provide Internet access, video games, videos, etc. for use in the patient rooms.
