| Call Intercept
You will need to subscribe to the Caller ID to use this feature. When the ID unit displays "private number", "unavailable" or "out of area", Call Intercept will ask the unidentified caller to record his/her name. Your telephone will only ring if the caller records their name, if so you will hear a distinctive ring and the Caller ID unit will display the words "Call Intercept". When you answer the call, you have five options:
Call Intercept also has a bypass option, which you can share with family and friends. When the intercept asks for the caller's name, the caller would enter a 4-digit code that the customer sets up at the time of ordering the feature. Once the call has bypassed the Intercept, the customer will hear a distinctive ring and the words "Priority Caller" will display in the ID unit. Setup Options:
