- Is DSL available in my area?
- Each address/phone number must be pre-qualified individually. To find out if your address/phone number qualifies for CloseCall DSL call our customer service number at 1877.812.5673.
- How close to the Central Office do I have to be to get DSL?

- What equipment will I need? Can I install it myself?
- Everything you need to get set up with CloseCall DSL will be sent in a kit prior to professional installation. Or you can use the kit to install service yourself.
- Can I use the DSL modem I have now?
- No, a new modem will be sent that is configured to be compatible with our network.
- Do I need to have phone service to get DSL?
- Yes, DSL uses your existing phone lines to connect you to the internet.
- Do I need to install another phone line or any additional jacks?
- You will not need to install any additional phone lines or jacks, DSL uses your existing phone lines.
- Do I need to keep my dial up connection?
- You will not need to keep a dial up connection. However, you may want to keep a dial up connection for instances when you are not at home, ie. vacation, business trips etc.
- Will I need a new computer because mine is old?
- DSL will work with most computers that have an ethernet (network) card. If you do not have one installed in your computer you can purchase one at your nearest computer supply store. We also serve MAC computers for DSL.

- Will I be able to use this with my laptop?

Most laptops come equipped with an ethernet (network) card and will be completely compatible with this service.

- Will I have the same e-mail address?
- No, whenever you switch ISP's you will receive a new e-mail address. If you already have our dial up service and/or e-mail service you will keep the same address. You will have the option of up to 4 e-mail addresses at no additional cost. If you need more than 4, then an additional cost of $1.00 per month for each e-mail address over the limit will apply.
