In addition, these instructions assume that you have Eudora already installed on your computer. Let's Get Started!Once Eudora has been installed, launch Eudora as you would any other program by clicking on Start > Programs Eudora > Eudora Light. The steps should look something like this:
Depending on the version you are using, you will either be able to click on Tools, then Options OR Special, then Settings instead.
You'll notice a window pops up containing a "Category" column with icons on the left and corresponding setting options on the right. Please begin configuration by clicking on the Personal Information icon and complete the following information (an example follows below):
Where domain.com is closecall.com For example, if you know that your e-mail address is johndoe@closecall.com, then your settings would be:
![]() Next, click the Hosts icon to enter the SMTP server address:
![]() Then, click the Checking Mail icon.
Click the Sending Mail icon. If there is a window for your SMTP server, please enter: smtp.closecall.com Click on the Advanced Network icon on the left. The Network open time-out and Network time-out after are set to 60 seconds. We recommend a setting of up to 600 seconds. Click the OK button. You have now successfully configured Eudora! |
